COMSTAR TECHNOLOGIES WINS THREE MAJOR AWARDS

Comstar recognized as a leader in security technology and ranked among the fastest growing companies in Philadelphia

WEST CHESTER, Pa. — October 29, 2020 — Comstar Technologies, an international provider of today’s most advanced unified communications services, physical security, audio-visual solutions, and managed IT services, proudly announces winning three highly coveted awards. These significant honors celebrate Comstar’s accelerated upward trajectory, including the recent acquisition of Comtel VoIP, a Buffalo-based provider, and innovation in physical security.

This trifecta of awards kicked off in August with Comstar receiving a Visionary Spotlight Award (VSA) from ChannelVision Magazine for Excellence in Security Technology. The VSA highlighted Comstar’s unique security offering, integration capabilities, and layering physical security solutions with cybersecurity. Recognition was also extended to Comstar’s various delivery models making security accessible, scalable and affordable for businesses of all sizes.

Following the VSA, Comstar earned a spot on Philadelphia Business Journal’s Soaring 76. For the third consecutive year, Comstar was recognized on this list, ranking 52 among the fastest growing companies headquartered in the Philadelphia region.

The awards continued into the fall as Comstar made the Philadelphia 100®, the hallmark of entrepreneurial achievement in the region since 1988. The project, which is run by The Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Greater Philadelphia, identifies and honors the top 100 fastest growing, privately held entrepreneurial companies in the Greater Philadelphia Region.

“We couldn’t be more excited and proud to win these three prestigious awards,” says Dave Johnson, President of Comstar Technologies. “In the face of this pandemic, our team showed resilience and dedication, all symbols of our strength and continued growth. These awards are a true reflection of our team’s innovation and hard work, despite the current landscape.”
