BenComm is pleased to announce it has officially joined the Comstar Technologies family of businesses.
BenComm was established by Steve Bennet in 1991 as a business telecommunications provider for the Mid-Atlantic region. Bennet met Comstar President, Kevin Flounders, at a product training nearly twenty years ago and the two became allies in the industry. The companies’ growth paralleled for the first 15 years of their friendship until Comstar began offering additional services such as Advanced AV, Video Conferencing, Building Security and IT Solutions, ultimately evolving into a full-service technology provider.
“I wanted to offer my clients those services as well so we began to partner with Comstar on those applications. Working with the Comstar team over the years I came to understand that Kevin and I share our belief in the importance of retaining great people, it made my final decision to merge quite easy since I have such trust in the combined workforce.” said Bennet.
Comstar will maintain headquarters in West Chester, PA as the Germantown Office which previously housed BenComm has undergone a full re-branding initiative and is now operating as Comstar’s most recent branch office.
Regarding the merge, Flounders stated, “I have always been impressed with the technical resources that BenComm has and having modeled my management approach after Steve’s blueprint, the integration went smoother than anyone could have expected.”
Comstar’s sustained growth in the Mid-Atlantic region will help provide a wider product offering to the BenComm family of clients. The expansion also enables Comstar to broaden its bench of professionals and in return, better serve existing and future clients as well as strengthen its 24/7 live customer support.
Bennet closed by saying, “Being able to finally close the loop on technology by offering a total office solution of LAN, WAN, AV, Security, Voice and all the related cabling to our clients has given them what they have always asked for, a single point of contact for all of their technology needs.”
